EUVE MOVES TO LAUNCH PAD
At 00:45 EDT, 22 May 92, the EUVE Spacecraft was fully mounted on
the Delta II rocket on Launch Pad 17A at Cape Canaveral Air Force
Base. The bagging has been removed from the canister and clean
room sterilization began at 01:15. A launch simulation is
planned for May 26-27.

EUVE LAUNCH DATE
The launch date for EUVE remains fixed at June 4, 1992. EUVE
Launch will be carried live on NASA Select television. For up to
date information on the exact launch date phone (510) 643-7043.
If you are in the San Francisco Bay area and wish to watch the
launch at CEA, please contact the same phone number or send
e-mail to pub@ssl.berkeley.edu.

CEA IN FLORIDA
Many members of the Berkeley team will be moving their operations
to the Cape Canaveral area for the period from May 26 through
launch. During that time, the clearing-house number for CEA
staffers will be (407) 784-8484, extension 3301.

A number of activities are planned for friends and family members
attending the launch. Please contact pub@ssl.berkeley.edu if you
are interested in joining in while you are in the Cape Canaveral
area and want an invitation to launch-related activities and
celebrations.

HAVE YOU RECEIVED YOUR EUVE NRA AND GO HANDBOOK?
We have received some queries from interested scientists, partic-
ularly in Europe, who have not received their copies of the NASA
NRA and Guest Observer handbook. It is also important that in-
terested scientists obtain the updates to Chapter 3 of the GO
Handbook, as these provide updated sensitivity calculations based
on later calibration data. Earlier versions of Chapter 3 give
misleadingly low calculations on source observability.

Proposals are due to NASA by July 1, 1992. If you have not re-
ceived a copy of the NRA, please send e-mail to
egoinfo@ssl.berkeley.edu or call (510) 643-5056 and we will for-
ward your request to the EUVE Project Scientist Dr Yoji Kondo at
GSFC.
