The FUSE Observer's Advisory Committee (FOAC)
The FOAC was established to advise the FUSE project on issues related to the use of FUSE by the astronomical community. FOAC members generally served for 1 - 2 years and were asked to attend up to two meetings per year. FOAC membership typically include 10 - 12 people both from US and foreign partnering countries at any one time. Those who participated at one time or another on the FUSE FOAC and their institution at the time of service are listed in the table below.
The FOAC served as an effective advocate for the GI community. We thank these people for their dedication, time, and service.
The following are PDF versions of powerpoint status reports made to the FOAC at each of their meetings.
These reports document the history and progress of the FUSE project as it entered into and through the
Extended Mission, from 2002 through 2007.
