User Specified Search Field

You may search on any column listed below. Where reasonable, the table lists the range of valid values or a set of sample values. A description of the column is also given. Note the column "label" is the name displayed on the search forms and in search results. The column "name" is the actual column name in the table and needs to be specified in GET requests.

From a MAST search form, simply select the column "label" in the forms pulldown menu and type in the qualification in the adjacent box. Note that if you specify constraints on the same column in more than one form element, they will all be included in the query and you may not get results you expect. In a HTTP GET request, specify the column "name" in the service request. (See the MAST Services web page for information on sumbitting GET requests.)

kic_degree_ra KIC RA (J2000) Right Ascension (J2000) in decimal degrees. All but roughly 36,000 photometric standards, are within the Kepler FOV. range: 281.1 to 300.1 degrees double
kic_dec KIC Dec (J2000) Declination (J2000) in decimal degrees. All but roughly 36,000 photometric standards, are within the Kepler FOV. range: 36.6 to 51.4 degrees double
angSep AngSep Computed angular separation between KIC and GALEX catalog positions in arcseconds. range: 0.001 to 5 arcsec (0.001 to 2.5 for accurate search). float
FUV FUV Magnitude in far-UV GALEX filter of GALEX matched object. range: -999 to 25.4 (24.9 for accurate search) Note -999 indicates not known. float

glx_detectorOn glx_detectoron High voltage to near-UV and/or far-UV camera during GALEX observation. High voltage being on usually (but not always) ensures a non-null value for the FUV and/or NUV magnitude. N, F, FN char
glx_tilename glx_tilename String name for unique sky region designated by the GALEX project that includes the matched object within the tile area. For the Kepler-GALEX cross-match project tiles are taken from the GII, MIS, DIS, and NGS surveys. example: GI4_056019_KEPLER_02 char
glx_tileRA glx tile RA Right Ascension (J2000) in decimal degrees for center of Galex tile. range: 281.1 to 299.2 degrees double
