Please see: 2) Example FUSE data available To enable all FUSE data users to form an initial acquaintance with FUSE data, we have released two data sets (one TTAG and one HIST mode set) to the general community. These data sets consist of 17.6ksec of HIST and 9.4ksec TTAG exposures of the white dwarf PG 0749+658. The data can be retrieved from MAST at STScI in the usual fashion. Further details can be found at: Instructions on how to retrieve FUSE data from the FUSE/MAST archive can be found at: 3) Project E-mail: Please include your Program ID! A friendly reminder to all users: If you are communicating with us electronically through the fuse_support e-mail account regarding an approved program, PLEASE remember to include your program ID in the subject line of the message! This is a BIG HELP to those of us who have to track and process these messages. 4) Cycle 2 NRA soon to be released The finishing touches are now being added to the FUSE cycle 2 NRA. We expect a draft version to be released in mid March, yielding a preliminary due date for cycle 2 proposals in mid June 2000. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Observer's Electronic Newsletter is published by the FUSE project and is aimed at the FUSE user community.
