This galaxy shows a clearly visible dust lane on our near-infrared image. A companion in the process of merging [Roche and Eales2000] is located to the northwest and is elongated towards the central source along the radio axis. Bright knots of emission are present along the northern border of the dust lane on the UV image[Allen et al.2002].
