  • 12/20/16 - The Campaign 10 data have been processed and are now on-line in two separate sets of files. The first six days of data, dubbed C10a, were collected with a pointing error of 3.3 pixels from the nominal field-of-view, so they were only processed through CAL to make Type 1 target pixel files and collateral data files. The remainder of the campaign, dubbed C10b, was processed through the entire photometry pipeline, creating Type 2 target pixel files, LC light curves, and CBVs, as well as ARP, background, and collateral data files. Another complexity is that module 4 was lost part way through C10b, which powered off the photometer and produced a 14-day data gap. The C10a data will appear in search results as campaign number 101 and the C10b data as campaign number 102. A search for Campaign 10 will return both sets of files. The plotting options require light curves, so they will only work for C10b.

  • 11/30/16 - The C1 data has been reprocessed and is available on-line, including new TPFs, long-cadence light curves, cotrending basis vectors, and LC/SC collateral data files. The DRN describe some issues associated with first few days of data, which were taken before the pointing was tweaked, and report on the short-cadence collateral bug fix.

  • 10/7/16 - Three more exoplanets have been added to the K2 Planets table bringing the total to 135 confirmed exoplanets.

  • 10/5/16 - The Campaign 9 Target Pixel Files are now online. C9a and C9b will appear in the search results with Campaign numbers 91 and 92 respectively. Searching for Campaign 9 will return both. Note there are no C9 light curves so the plotting options will not work. The C9 Data Release Notes are also available.

  • 10/4/16 - The EPIC manual has been updated to describe the added missing targets for C11, the new C16 FOV, and provide more information on stellar properties.

  • 9/30/16 - The Ecliptic Plane Input Catalog (EPIC) has been updated to include the revised forward-facing field for Campaign 16 and the missing targets for Campaign 11. The updated ASCII version of the EPIC can be downloaded here.

Since the two campaign halves fly different target tables, C9a requires sorting with the 2016068 pixel mapping reference files (PMRFs), while C9b will require the 2016119 PMRFs. When all of the C9 data have been collected, downloaded, and calibrated, these temporary, uncalibrated cadence pixel files will be removed and replaced by archive-quality target pixel files containing both the uncalibrated and calibrated data. Currently, the C9b data is scheduled for download starting July 2.
