Updated HLSPs for November
Updated HLSP November was a quiet month for MAST! We had only one update: to the TICA collection. TICA quick-look calibrated full frame images from the following orbits are now available at MAST: Sector 85, Orbits 1A, 1B, and 2A, and 2B. This sector is now complete. Example calibrated full frame image from Sector 27, Camera 1, CCD 1.

New and Updated HLSPs for October
2024OCTOBER29This month, a new HST HLSP was released: Scylla is a multi-wavelength survey of areas of the SMC intended to resolve dust properties, constrain the structure, and probe the star formation history of the Magellanic Clouds. Updates were also made to GLASS-JWST, the OPAL outer planets survey, the REFERENCE-ATLASES survey, and two of our TESS-based HLSPs. A busy month!

SDSS Data Now Available at MAST
2024OCTOBERThis month marks the release of the first survey in the SDSS Legacy Archive at MAST, which will host all science-ready data from SDSS-I through SDSS-V. The first release includes data from the Mapping Nearby Galaxies at Apache Point Observatory (MaNGA) survey.

2024SEPTEMBERTwo JWST-based HLSPs were released this month: SMILES, a multi-band imaging program, and WIDE, a spectral survey.

Interactive light curve viewer now live!
2024SEPTEMBER30Lcviz, an interactive light curve viewer, is now live in the MAST Portal! View plots and begin your analysis without any need to download.

New Notebooks in September
2024SEPTEMBERThis month, two new JWST Data Analysis Tools notebooks were released. Both describe techniques for improving the quality of JWST data.

New & Updated HLSPs for August
2024AUGUST29Three new Hubble HLSPs were released this month! CLUES is a FUV atlas of young stars, LMC-FLOWS is a collection of interstellar absorption lines, and NLR-AGN provides [O III] imaging of narrow line region outflows in nearby galaxies. Updates were also made to QLP and TICA.

The New JWST Duplicate Observation Search Tool
2024AUGUST26MAST has released a JWST Duplication Observation Search tool to help investigators determine if their proposed observations are likely duplications of existing or planned observations.

2024JULY30MAST will be at the IAU General Assembly in Cape Town. Attend one of our talks, watch a hyperwall presentation, or visit us at the booth to try out our cloud science platform!

Updated HLSPs for July
2024JULY30Updates were made to the BOSZ Synthetic Stellar Spectral Library; these updated models were then added to the REFERENCE-ATLASES collection. There were also updates to the TESS-based TICA and QLP HLSPs.
