Updated

  • BOSZ stellar models updated to fix two issues: all Hydrogen lines up to 32 microns are now present, and an error where OH+ used the OH partition function by mistake. BOSZ users are encouraged to re-download models they are using to get these fixes.
  • TICA quick-look, calibrated TESS full frame images from orbits 1 and 2 of Sector 97 are now available at MAST. Note that, due to a change in the duration of observations, sectors are now four orbits long.
  • QLP calibrated light curves from TESS full frame images for the following sectors are now available at MAST:
    • Sector 96, adding 419,834 targets
    • Sector 95, adding 497,114 targets

Top panel shows log(g) vs. T_eff; middle panel shows alpha vs. metallicity; bottom panel shows carbon vs. metallicity. BOSZ 2024 grids are black points, distribution of APOGEE stars in backbround of plots as heat maps.
Top panel: Teff - log(g) diagram of the new BOSZ grid, middle panel: [α/M] as a function of [M/H], bottom panel: [C/M] as a function of [M/H]. There are 336 chemical composition combinations, each with 322 MARCS and 173 ATLAS9 model atmospheres. Star density from APOGEE DR17 (Abdurro’uf et al. 2022) is represented as a heat map in the background, showing that the selected parameters cover most of the stars that are observed in the Milky Way.
