New HLSPs

Parallel Ionizing Emissivity (PIE) is a large HST program designed to constrain the emission of Lyman continuum (LyC) radiation in galaxies at 3.1 < z < 3.5. This HLSP imaged imaged 37 independent fields in three filters (F336W, F625W and F814W), with 18 observed with a fourth band (F475W) from the "PIE+" program (PID 17518, PI Beckett). PIE uses photometric colors to select candidate Lyman Break Galaxies (LBGs) at z ~ 3; follow-up is ongoing to confirm the redshifts. The current (v1) release includes images and photometric catalogs for the 37 completed fields. The catalog includes 1400 galaxies that are likely high-redshift LBGs, of which at least 500 are expected to be in the 3.1 to 3.5 redshift range.

The Treasury of Extremely Metal-Poor O Stars (TEMPOS) is a cycle 31 HST program targeting hot, massive O-type stars in nearby, metal poor galaxies. Its primary goal is to measure the stellar and wind properties of its 29 targets to serve as an empirical guide for massive-star astrophysics at very low metallicity. Tempos includes HST/COS spectra of all 29 stars, plus ground-based, moderate-resolution optical spectroscopy.
